i’ve been out of town for 23 days.. and had been going out for the past 24 days.. today, christmas day, is the first time i’m staying home in the month of december.. ahAhaha.. cool huh..

christmas ‘party’ last night was.. uncommentable.. haHAhaha.. spend it in a park at holland v.. sat there.. talked.. do stuff, nothing much.. but it was alright.. better then staying at home.. haHAhah..

anyways.. it was great visiting japan again.. this time, i went with 3 friends, met them there.. weiyi, chris and jon.. it was fun going overseas with friends.. get to do lots of lame stuff.. went shopping and sightseeing for the first few days.. visited kamakura, where there is a huge buddah, and also visited mt. fuji.. it was awesome! aAhhaha..

this time in japan, we met new friends from the hostel.. singaporeans.. quite friendly.. and it’s also great to know people from your own hometown when you’re overseas.. met up with some friends too.. and the amazing thing is, when i just said ‘hello’ through the phone, my friend immediately recognised me.. cool! and it’s like we haven’t talked in months.. so surprised that she still remembered my voice.. haHAhaha..

my roadtrip has almost ended.. going back to San Francisco tomorrow morning.. here’s how it goes..

Monday: San Francisco – Las Vegas

Tuesday: Las Vegas – Death Valley – Las Vegas

Wednesday: Las Vegas – Grand Canyon via Route 66

Thursday: Hike down the Grand Canyon and back up

Friday: Head back to San Francisco

in the roadtrip, i’ve done alot of first times.. infact.. in this whole month, i did alot of first times right from the 1st of dec.. =)

haHAHha.. anyways.. the most amazing thing that i did for the first time this time round is…. to sit on the WORLD’S TALLEST BIG SHOT! it’s the one with the tall tower where you go up and down at high speeds.. it was my cousin’s bday so…. i just played along.. and as many of you knows.. i’m the kind that won’t take these kind of rides one right?! ahHAhah.. it’s the world’s tallet one somemore.. at las vegas, stratosphere.. there were 3 rides up there, and we took all 3 rides.. very scary.. will tell you guys more when i get back.. meanwhile, here’s the link to the stratosphere.. http://www.stratospherehotel.com/las_vegas_stratosphere_ride.html

at the grand canyon now.. it’s bout 10pm i guess.. went to look at the sunrise this morning followed by a hike down the grand canyon, too the South Kaibab Trails i think.. ahAHha.. was bout 2000m above sea level and we hike downwards and back up.. really cold and tiring.. but the view was simply gorgeous.. will post some pics next time.. cos currently i’m too lazy and tired to wait for the pictures to load.. =)

heading back to SF tmr.. 12hrs ride.. car ride.. haahha.. think i’ll sleep almost all the way as i did so in the past few days.. ahHAhaha..

how many more days left?

3 countries in 1 day.. singapore, tokyo and san francisco..

within 1 day, i’ve been to these 3 places.. left singapore at round 0730 on the 1st of dec.. reach tokyo at round 1300+.. and at san francisco at 0940+.. all on the 1st of dec! which means.. i reach SF in bout 2hrs time? how cool is that! haHAhha.. and it’s halfway around the world! =)

it’s 1930(1st dec) now in SF.. 1133(2nd dec) in SG.. i’m one day behind!! omg! what’s happening?! ahHAhaha.. when i pass the international date line just now.. i could felt that i went back in time! haHhaha.. went back 17hrs.. the flight was long and tiring.. didnt really slept last night too..

met up with my sis and peter at the airport.. didnt sleep but instead went out to eat, follow my sis to school, then go downtown to do abit of window shopping.. tomorrow.. weekends.. then the shopping really begins.. =)
